Twin-T Cromo Frame-Kit Quantum Grey

£580.00

Truth be told our newest Cromo frame has a very familiar feel and style to it.

Yes, it looks like some Old School BMX frames and the downtube design is inspired by both those BMX models as well as motorcycle frames that date back more than 3 decades.

However, when you delve deeper into the details, you will realize that whilst inspired by the past, if you look at the market today, there is really nothing like it currently available!

What do we mean? Well, for starters this is a full-blown 29er off-road bike that was designed with modern MTB frame geometry and bike standards.

This combination of geometry and frame standards offer a unique versatility and durability that delivers the freedom to be very creative with how you spec and build yours.

Whether it is a bike-packing rig for multi-day adventures or a gravel build for touring, we know this bike is ready and up for it!

So check out the full breakdown of features to get your dream bike build ideas flowing.

This is NOT a Trail Bike.

Whilst the numbers and geometry are leaning towards modern trail bike design, we have stuck to fairly conservative reach and frame angles to ensure versatility.

Our MTB build showcases the bikes unique style and custom opportunities for riders wanting a truly one-of-a-kind design and ride quality.

The frame is well suited to 100 to 120mm travel suspension forks, so we reached out to Bright Racing Shocks in Italy for something really special! Their F929 XCO fork may be lean on details ( their website is in Italian ) but it oozes custom and beautiful machining and detailing. They were kind enough to do a custom 510mm length axle-to-crown and spec it with 120mm of air travel. The custom red anodizing was just adding some icing to the cake!

For the drivetrain and components we stuck to a more XC/Adventure spec , from our new Headspace 70mm Stem and Supa-Moto Riser to the SRAM NX ( yes, nothing too fancy ) Eagle drivetrain, we tried to create a build that was bespoke but still sensible.

Comparing the MTB build to that of the GRAVEL option, there are some similarities which show how the frame could be built either way same wheels etc.
